Please read our conditions of use carefully as by using the website you will be taken to have agreed to be bound by them. We reserve the right to vary the conditions of use at any time and will post any variations here. You are advised to review the conditions of use on a regular basis as you will be deemed to have accepted variations if you continue to use the website after they have been posted.

We take every care and precaution to ensure that information published on the website is accurate when posted and regularly updated, but Defining Wine does not guarantee its accuracy and we may change the information at any time without notice.

We publish the website “as is” without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of our site, the accuracy of the information or the products or services referred to on the website (in so far as such warranties may be excluded under any relevant law) and Defining Wine shall not be liable for any losses or damage that may result from use of the website as a consequence of any inaccuracies in, or any omissions from, the information which they may contain.

Please note that any files downloaded from the site are made at your own risk.

Courses and tastings

Your booking is not secured until payment is received – all courses and tastings must be paid for in advance.

All bookings are refundable up to 4 weeks prior to the event date (less a 5% Administration Charge). If a refund is requested more than 55 days after purchase date, the full amount will be refunded less a 5% Administration Charge.

Up to 2 weeks prior to the event, you may, if you are unable to attend a course/tasting, send a substitute, or receive a refund voucher that may be used for payment against another course/tasting.

Within 2 weeks of the event, you may, if you are unable to attend a course, send a substitute. No refunds will be provided.

If you do not attend a booked course or event, no refund will apply except under exceptional circumstances, at the discretion of Defining Wine Ltd.

Gift vouchers are non-refundable

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any course or event.

For Corporate & Private Tastings a deposit of 50% is payable to secure the booking. The balance must be paid on or before the tasting date.

We reserve the right to ask any person to leave any event if their behaviour is felt to be unacceptable or disruptive to others.

We do not serve alcohol to guests under the age of 18.
